Our Center was created around the commitment of two sisters who have dealt with their fertility on opposite ends of the spectrum. Having experienced third-party reproduction first hand, and knowing the heart breaking battle of infertility and the associated treatments, they created Conceptual Options, LLC a Center for Surrogacy and Egg Donation.

Our Staff
President, CEO, attorney and founding member of Conceptual Options. Theresa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii and her law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law. She is also the author of Assisted Reproduction: The Complete Guide to Having a Baby with the Help of a Third Party. Theresa provides couples with the basic tools needed to get started down the often lonely road of infertility. She is experienced in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing the contracts necessary for a successful arrangement between Intended Parents and their Fertility Assistant. Provides counsel and prepares all necessary court documents to assist couples and individuals in establishing their parental rights as Intended Parents. Rated and named by her peers as being among the "Best Lawyers in San Diego".
One of the founding members of Conceptual Options, with more than ten years of experience in the field of Assisted Reproduction. A graduate from the University of California, San Diego. Having been a donor herself in college, and years later experiencing a personal battle with infertility, she has the background and ability to truly relate with all parties involved. In her experience, she had found that one or more of the participants in the assisted reproduction process was often left feeling neglected. Conceptual Options strives to make the sometimes difficult process of bringing a child into this world, a happy and satisfying endeavor. Her reputation with professionals in this field is among the best in the nation, and her goal is to find a way to allow every person the opportunity to succeed and overcome, as she has is her own experience with infertility.
Case Manager for Conceptual Options. Responsible for coordinating IVF cycles and facilitating the relationships between Intended Parents and their Donor and/or Surrogate. Arranges medical and psychological appointments and coordinates communication between physicians and their staff. Her dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides her clients with the security of care and understanding 24 hours a day. Melinda has also been a surrogate and working full time in this industry for the last eight years.

Case Coordinator and Cycle Coordinator for Conceptual Options. Provides ongoing support to active Donors, Surrogates, and Intended Parents while cycling within Conceptual Options. Assists in scheduling appointments for Donors and Surrogates and maintains close relationships with all Donors and Surrogates to ensure that they understand and feel complete support throughout their endeavor. Molly also facilitates coordination of Surrogate Retreats and other professional and peer support groups that are an invaluable aspect of our service. Molly has also been a surrogate.
Paralegal and Director of Legal Operations for Law Offices of Theresa Erickson. Responsible for facilitating the legal arrangements with attorneys and investigators. George has the education and experience to ensure that each case is handled in a timely manner, and with strict attention to detail, eliminating errors in preparation and filing of all necessary court documents.
Egg Donor & Surrogate Program Manager for Conceptual Options. Responsible for interviewing and educating all Egg Donor & Surrogate Mother Applicants. Arranges and confirms all necessary screening for applicants, as well as verifies all transcripts, records, history etc. for all candidates accepted into our program. Provides ongoing support and ensures up to date availability of all candidates, providing added piece of mind to parents. Dedication and emotional connection to each and every client provides her clients with the security of care and understanding.
Trust and Billing Manager for Law Offices of Theresa Erickson. Jennifer is responsible for management and accounting of client trusts handled through the Law Offices of Theresa Erickson and Conceptual Options. Jennifer's experience in finance is essential to ensure that the accounting and management of client trust accounts is accurate and concise through a variety of auditing processes.
Receptionist and Administrative Assistant for Conceptual Options. Carol's remarkable administrative and customer service skills are key in insuring that all clients are provided personal service and attention. Carol handles all front and back office responsibilities including phones, data entry & file maintenance.
